Our curriculum is based on the recognition that by engaging children’s innate love of learning from the earliest possible age, we develop learners with the best possible opportunities to succeed in their learning journey.

By deliberately balancing structured learning and play - and ensuring that there is a conscious intention in every aspect of all settings, our curriculum is the golden thread for excellence from 3 months to 11 years old.

From Nursery all the way through to Year 6, we underpin all of our teaching on the Early Years Curriculum. This covers:

Prime areas - the over-arching developmental priority areas for developing the whole child

  • Communication and Language
  • Physical Development
  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development

And focuses on specific areas to support future learning:

  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design

Delivered through the use of high-quality and effective resources as well as the latest technology, your child will benefit from teaching and learning that is proven to deliver the best possible outcomes.

We recognise learning through play is key to the development of these very young children. Our settings provide appropriate activities and a high degree of independence to maximise motivation and learning.

The emotional, social and physical development of young children has a direct impact on their overall development.

Children’s early experiences - particularly their first learning experiences - deeply affect their future physical, cognitive, emotional and social development. As a Trust, we know that optimising the education of those that attend our Early Years settings is the best investment we can make as a Trust in ensuring their future success.
